Lady head vases gained popularity in the Mid 20th Century (from the 1950s-1970s)
These decorative ceramic vases which depicted glamorous women with elaborate hats, make-up & jewelry, were produced by many companies, of which Napco (National Potteries Company) being the most well known manufacturer.
They were used as planters or simply as decorative figurines.
They were hand painted.
* She has some old glue or something (maybe glaze loss) on the back of her head, you can see in pictures.
Nice display piece – no chips or cracks, some age related spots.
